Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.

Pupil Premium Strategy 2019-20

Pupil Premium Expenditure for the 2018 - 19 Academic Year


The total allocation based on the Ever6 calculation for the school for the 2018-19 financial year is:



The money will be allocated as follows:


£64,033 (77%)

This will be allocated to teaching and support staff facilitating individual and small group support for those children that need it most, to ensure they meet the expected outcomes and for those children who are expected to exceed the expected outcomes. This will also fund or partially fund 3 teaching assistants to support disadvantaged children in class and small groups. It includes funding for extra teaching assistant hours in EYFS to ensure support for disadvantaged children in is place from day 1.


£12,474 (15%)

To help fund the cost of lunches for our most disadvantaged children ensuring at least one nutritional meal a day to promote health and well-being.


£6652 (8%)

The remaining funding will support transition work with Year 6 children and work with the consortium and the University of Cumbria to raise aspirations of disadvantaged children within this group.
