The Foundation Stage children had a lovely surprise visit from Pet Encounter on Monday morning. They looked at lots of different reptiles, insects, and animals and even had the opportunity to hold some of them.
We are so proud of how brave all the children were and how willing they were to give anything a try.

This week, Reception children have been making 'tattie hash.' They peeled and chopped the vegetables to go in the pan. We talked about how to use the vegetable peeler and knives safely. We all sat together to taste the 'tattie hash; it was delicious.

To re-launch Times Table Rockstars and Numbots, we held a Rockstar day at school where the children came dressed up as their favourite rockstars. The bell rang throughout the day, signalling for the children to play as many games as they could on TTRS or Numbots and trying to get their team (boys vs girls) to victory. In the end, the boys beat the girls, 400 points to 282. A huge well done to our winners from each year group who scored the most correct answers in their class!
